The Prophetic Significance of the Feasts By Damiano B. Centola
The Feasts of the Lord are not random celebrations or cultural observances. They are appointed times — sacred markers set by God Himself to reveal His plan of redemption. Every feast is a shadow pointing to Christ. Passover — The Lamb slain. Unleavened Bread — The sinless One buried. Firstfruits — The risen King. Pentecost — The Spirit poured out. These have already been fulfilled in Christ’s first coming. But the fall feasts speak of what is still to come: The Feast of Trumpets — The awakening cry. The Day of Atonement — The national turning of Israel. The Feast of Tabernacles — God dwelling with His people forever. The feasts form the prophetic calendar of eternity. They tell the story of where history has been and where it is going. The world does not turn on political timelines, global agendas, or human empires. It turns on the rhythm of God’s appointed times. To understand the feasts is to understand the unfolding of redemption, the nearness of Christ’s return, and the destiny of those who belong to Him. The Feasts are not merely to be studied — they are to be remembered, honored, and lived. Because we are not waiting for history to unfold — we are living inside it.
